My son, Norvin, and I invented ShotDogs after Norvin’s first season of Lacrosse ended. He loved the game and wanted to keep playing so we bought a rebound pad which was fun, but it was kind of a solo activity. We wanted something we could do together. We started putting up paper targets and developing games. This made playing together much more fun!

After much iteration, the ShotDogs were born.

With the ShotDogs, Novin’s skills increased quickly and exponentially. He not only learned to throw better with more accuracy, but also learned to catch better. Before we started using targets, a simple game of throw and catch was more like a game of pick up, throw, miss the catch, and chase all over the yard!

Everybody knows that the key to developing young athletes is practice. But practice can be lonely and boring. With ShotDogs, practice is a game to be played with others which is much more fun!
